Our Highest-Volume Service Region

Our Southern California operations serve one of the largest and most diverse manufacturing markets in the United States. The region's concentration of aerospace suppliers, automotive stampers and tier-2/tier-3 parts manufacturers, HVAC equipment producers, metal building components fabricators, and job shops makes it Merit USA's highest-volume service region.

The Southern California facility carries deep inventory across our core product lines — galvanized, cold rolled, HRPO, and galvalume — and operates our slitting and coil processing equipment to serve customers who need processed product on short notice. The port access in the Los Angeles basin also gives us competitive procurement options for imported flat-rolled steel when domestic supply is constrained or pricing favors offshore sourcing.

Northern California

The Northern California facility positions Merit USA to serve the Bay Area's technology manufacturing sector, the Central Valley's agricultural equipment industry, and the broader Sacramento-to-Fresno manufacturing corridor. This region has a distinct product mix compared to Southern California, with heavier demand for HRPO and hot rolled products for agricultural and construction applications alongside galvanized and galvaneal for more precision-sensitive manufacturing.

Northern California customers benefit from same-day or next-day service on stocked items and close proximity to our processing operation for rapid slit-to-width conversions. The facility handles the full Merit USA product line and can coordinate with our Southern California location when specialized product or additional processing capacity is required.

Pacific Northwest

Serving Oregon & Washington Manufacturing

Our Pacific Northwest location serves the Oregon and Washington manufacturing base, which spans a wide range of industries from forest products equipment and marine/boatbuilding to semiconductor manufacturing support, commercial aircraft component suppliers, and consumer products manufacturers.
